ECC Academy/Infants and Risky Play with Sophie Rayner-Grignon

Introducing the "Infants and Risky Play" Workshop!

In our recent workshop, we explored the transformative impact of risky play in early infancy. Titled "Infants and Risky Play," this session was facilitated and hosted by Sophie Rayner-Grignon, ECE Community Advisor of The ECC. Sophie guided us through a comprehensive discussion on the holistic effects and practical applications of risky play for infants aged 0-18 months.

During the workshop, Sophie addressed common fears and barriers associated with risky play, offered strategies for reframing risk, and shared practical applications to support infants' growth and development. We delved into how risky play can benefit early and older infants, and provided actionable ideas and next-step resources to help educators, infants, and communities engage in this essential aspect of early childhood development safely and effectively.

For those who attended, we hope you found the session insightful and inspiring. If you missed it or wish to revisit the discussion, the online content is now available for you here!

Don’t miss out on this valuable opportunity to enhance your understanding and implementation of risky play in your early childhood education practice.

Recently moving into an Early Literacy and Parenting Educator position, Sophie gets to show off her passions for parenting, play, diverse books, and early learning every day.

Lillio

We have worked with Anisha over the last few months in a variety of ways. So it began with Anisha coming for a meet and greet she literally dissected our thoughts and our brains at that short timeframe and came up with this master plan on how we are going to better our team and our business and for lack of better words "level up and that is exactly what we did with Anisha. She performs a series of learning and development with our team and they have been a complete success and everyone always looks forward to them"
