Explore a new approach to emotional development rooted in empathy, understanding, and connection. In this workshop, we’ll unpack the foundations of emotional intelligence in young children, dive into practical strategies from the Tiny Humans, Big Emotions book, and explore the Collaborative Emotion Processing (CEP) method. You'll walk away with insights and tools to navigate big feelings and support children’s emotional growth with confidence and compassion.
This workshop is designed for educators and childcare professionals ready to shift away from traditional responses and embrace emotionally responsive teaching. Through real-life examples, scripts, and expert guidance, you’ll reflect on your current practices, learn how to manage challenging behaviours more effectively, and foster a classroom environment that supports both student and educator emotional well-being.
