Explore the concept of creating calm for infants and how to manage multiple babies with ease. In this workshop, we will dive into the importance of establishing a calm environment for infants, discuss ways to respond and build calm in ways that work for both you and the babies, and explore strategies for supporting multiple infants at once. Join us to gain the confidence and tools needed to create a peaceful and supportive atmosphere for both you and the infants in your care.
This workshop is designed for caregivers and childcare professionals working with infants. You will reflect on your current approaches, be inspired by new techniques, and leave feeling prepared to manage multiple infants in a way that promotes calm, comfort, and connection.

The majority of her career has been working with young parents and their infants and toddlers in Non-Profit Centre based Subsidised Licensed Child Care. Sophie is all about Infant care and play - using her creativity to plan intentional programming for the youngest learners as a passionate play partner is one of her absolute favourite parts of being an ECE!
Recently moving into an Early Literacy and Parenting Educator position, Sophie gets to show off her passions for parenting, play, diverse books, and early learning every day!
In addition to being an educator, Sophie is a loving spouse, cat caregiver, and active neighbour & volunteer in her cooperative housing community!
